Vijay is a Project Coordinator at Sol design + consulting, where he supports high performance building projects with a focus on green certification programs like LEED, Passive House, and Enterprise Green Communities. With hands-on experience across architecture, sustainable design, and public sector infrastructure, he brings a deep understanding of climate resilient design and energy efficient construction practices.
Before joining Sol, Vijay worked as a Design Professional in Sustainability, contributing to complex architectural projects and integrating sustainable strategies into the design process. He also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at his alma mater - University of Minnesota’s College of Design and supported state-led initiatives as a Sustainability Services Intern at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. His early foundation in design was built at Architectural Workshop in India, where he worked on institutional and residential projects.
When he’s not working, you’ll find him behind a camera lens, at the piano, singing, testing out new recipes in the kitchen, or playing with Taco (mini goldendoodle), his furriest sidekick.
