Jacqueline Langhals Presents on Resilience at APA Workshop

Jacqueline Langhals, Director of Certifications at Sol, recently presented at the APA Ohio Cincinnati Planning & Zoning Workshop. She participated in a panel discussion entitled “Fostering Resilience and Growth in Ottawa, Ohio: A Small Town Revitalization Case Study,” and presented alongside Daniella Beltran, an urban designer with YARD & Company.

The story of the Village of Ottawa, Ohio is an important, small-town story of overcoming environmental and economic disasters and funneling newly-discovered community strength into a coordinated effort to rebuild with intentionality and resilience. The presentation covered key takeaways from the 2022 Go Ottawa Strategic Growth planning process, including strategies that can be implemented by other small towns.

The workshop was presented by APA Ohio’s Cincinnati Section on March 10, 2023.
