Moothart Residence Featured in Northside Home Tour

The Moothart Residence, a Net Positive Energy LEED Platinum retrofit of a 150-year-old home, was featured in the 2022 Northside Home Tour. The retrofit included new exterior insulation, new windows, new high-performance HVAC systems, and a 7 kW solar array. After a full year of operation, the home is producing more energy than it consumes -- including charging the owner's electric vehicle.

The Home Tour gives the public an opportunity to tour the project and talk with the homeowner. The Northside Home Tour is an annual event in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati.
