Sol design + consulting Wins Best of Practice Award

Sol design + consulting has won the Architect's Newspaper Best of Practice Award for Sustainability in the Midwest region. The award recognizes North American firms excelling in their practice across a range of categories.

Sol has been leading and innovating in the field of sustainable design since inception in 2006, with a particular focus on affordable housing, green historic and high-performance retrofits. We have served as sustainability consultants on over 500 projects across the US and internationally. Among our accomplishments are certifying the first multifamily Passive House in Ohio for an affordable senior community; certifying the first LEED Platinum midrise supportive housing project in the US; and certifying the largest single-phase LEED Homes development in the world.
