TREO acquires three awards of excellence

On the corner of West 25th Street and Swift Avenue where Ohio City and Tremont meet, TREO is a high-rise apartment building in Cleveland, Ohio that has earned three awards at NAIOP Northern Ohio's Awards for Architectural Design, Interior Design, and Development of the Year.

"TREO is a pioneering project that implements sustainability through the City of Cleveland’s property tax abatement. It is designed to improve the lives of future residents and to set a benchmark for future urban development, capturing the vibrant character of the neighborhood. We are thrilled to announce that TREO - market-rate high-rise development by Mavrek Development, NORR, and The Krueger Group, has been honored with an award." Says Sanyog Rathod, President and CEO of Sol design + consulting.

Sol design + consulting provided consulting, energy modeling, and verification services to achieve the project's NGBS certification, including serving as NGBS Green Provider, Verifier, and Rater.

TREO

At TREO, the living experience blends Ohio City and Tremont through inspired sustainable elements. The 171-unit U-shaped building features several social areas, a co-working space, and a fitness center that reflects Ohio City's bustling nature. As one of Cleveland's oldest neighborhoods, Ohio City couples historic and modern architecture with an urban feel. West Side Market, a public farmers' market and a historic site, and Ohio City Farm, a large urban farm are two of the neighborhood's well-known attractions. Breweries and restaurants draw a young and diverse crowd to the flourishing nightlife.

TREO's artistic touches introduce new residents to the lifestyle of Tremont. The little village is in a pocket outside Cleveland's downtown, offering scenic views of the city that can be experienced on TREO's rooftop deck or along the Towpath Bike Trail. Tremont is well-known for its Victorian village, colorful art scene, and diverse cuisine. A short stroll will lead you to Tremont's art galleries, culinary attractions, and the house from A Christmas Story. The niche community is full of painters, sculptors, designers, musicians, and chefs from all over the globe.
