Woodhill Station West: Award-Winning Green Affordable Housing in Cleveland

Woodhill Station West in Cleveland, Ohio, has been honored as the Best Overall Development in Affordable Housing Finance's (AHF) 2024 Readers' Choice Awards. Developed by The Community Builders and designed by City Architecture, the project is a key part of the Woodhill Homes revitalization. Sol design + consulting served as the Enterprise Green Communities (EGC) consultant, ensuring the development met stringent sustainability and energy efficiency standards. 

The development features 120 mixed-income units, offering residents eco-friendly living spaces with easy access to public transportation and vital community resources. Woodhill Station West goes beyond affordable housing by integrating sustainable design and creating shared public spaces, fostering a sense of community. Through its green building practices and thoughtful urban planning, the project is playing a key role in revitalizing the neighborhood and supporting long-term economic mobility for residents.
