Sol design + consulting: balancing sustainability and aesthetics
In March of 2025, Trimble highlighted the work of Sol design + consulting on their SketchUp Blog, showcasing case studies of the LEED Gold certification of the first reinforced concrete skyscraper in the United States and Sol's design of the first Passive House in Iowa City. Sol utilized Seifera and SketchUp's energy modeling analysis tools to inform key design decisions as early as the conceptual design phase.
